Big Day In Football News Today!

So as many of you have heard today is a happy and sad day for some people. Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo hung up his cleats after 13 seasons in the NFL. He has been a big name quarterback in this league since he league since his third season in 2006. He ended his career with 34,183 passing yards and 248 touchdowns. Injury plagued his career and is the main reason for him leaving the game.

So let’s get down to the real talk. Lets talk about the sometimes illustrious and sometimes terribly average career of the man named Tony “Freaking” Romo. He has brought great joy and great sadness/frustration to many Cowboys fans while also becoming one of the most hated players in the league. Lets be honest here … he freaking sucked he has a 2-4 playoff record for his career. That’s pretty shitty. I am sort of bias against this topic being a New York Giants fan myself. He was over payed for most of his career. He was projected to make $8.9 million in 2018 which is way too much seeing as he is now the backup to the rising star name Dak Prescott. Although he had some moments of stardom, as the Cowboys have more success with their two rookie stars, he will be forgotten quickly.
